SATs are examinations used in order to determine how well your child is progressing in their education, and they are held at key periods in your child’s educational life. Many mistakenly believe that SATs aren’t all that important in the grand scheme of things, however this is a dangerous assumption to make, because they can play a huge role in your child’s future predicted grades, and the academic path that they end up taking.
SATs occur once your child has finished learning the curriculums of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The subjects that are tested are mathematics, science and English, and each child is assigned a level after the tests are completed. As with many examinations though, the most able children do not always receive the level of recognition that they deserve, either due to poor preparation or because they are unsure when placed under exam conditions.
At AceXL, we’ve been working with children for a long time, preparing hundreds for their SATs in all of the different subjects. We base all of our teaching on the National Curriculum, to ensure that your child only ever learns about topics relevant to the exam however, unlike schools, we are able to spend as much time as needed with an individual child, to make sure they fully grasp the topic being taught. Therefore, your child will never find us moving too quickly for them, and will also never be held back by other pupils with a lower tolerance for learning.
We also have the ability to use different approaches to teaching your child, in an effort to find the way that works best for them. Our vast selection of materials will ensure that they are always able to find the books that they need, and our multimedia platform allows them to learn on any device, be it a desktop, laptop or tablet. Nothing can replace good old fashioned teaching though, so we make sure that your child will spend a lot of time with experienced, encouraging and knowledgeable tutors, all of whom are specifically trained to help your child fulfil their potential in their SATs.
