SATs, CEM 11+ and GCSE Mock Examinations

Exams: they can be one of the most stressful experiences in life, and this stress can often lead to a student failing to fulfil their potential. At AceXL, we want to help you or your child avoid the pitfalls associated with examinations though, which is why we regularly run mock exams, which simulate the experience a student will go through during the real thing. Therefore, taking an exam should seem almost natural once the day of the actual exam comes around.

Our mock examinations can be arranged for many different levels, ranging from Eleven Plus through to GCSEs. All pupils will be subject to authentic examinations, and the papers will all be closely based on real life papers from the exam boards. By sitting through one or more mock examinations, students will learn how to cope with the conditions, and will also gain a feel for the importance of time management.

Once any mock examination is over, parents will be provided with a comprehensive report on their child, which will outline any areas in which they struggled. This report can then be used to focus a pupil’s study towards a particular area, either at home, or in one of the courses taught by AceXL. For more information on the individual courses available, please visit the Tailored Tuition page on this site.

We currently offer mock examinations located generally within the University of Birmingham, the University of Warwick and the Priory School (Edgbaston). Please check this page regularly to learn when our next mock exam days are being held, and the availability for these days. We only have a limited number of spaces per day, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

To find out any more information about our mock examinations, please feel free to call or email us. We will then be happy to answer any questions you might have.
